Bullsh-- ** It's hot. It's really damned hot. But when the Weather Channel website tries to tell me that the temperature is 104, but only feels like 98, well, that's just a load of crap. I don't care if it's 9% humidity (well, okay I do - I think I'm molting right now). It still feels freaking hot, and it does not feel cooler because it's dry.

Perverse sort of fun ** I loved the Spelling Bee when I was a kid. I never made it past the district contest, but I was a finalist there. This story has a link in the left-hand column for a really really cool interactive spelling contest. Try it out if you have headphones and a few minutes to spare. I ought to have time to really play with it sometime in the year 2025...
