Great ** Baby wanted peanut m&m's this morning, so Mommy gave it peanut m&m's. Now mommy's sick to stomach. Yuck. It's 8:15 in the morning. I really shouldn't have done that. I will probably be paying for it all day. :-(

Lovely ** Ever wonder what the weather's like in Heaven? I'd wager a bet it's something like this.

This week, next ** I may, or may not be around much for the next few days. I found out some shocking news last night, which got a little more upsetting and urgent today. There may be moments when I feel like writing something, lighthearted or not, and there may be whole days when I don't. I'll come back later next week when things are happy and back to normal. I pray they will be happy and back to normal. If you pray, please include me and my family in your prayers, particularly next Tuesday. Thanks.

Sniper ** I wonder if his name is Michael, or his last name Michaels. He seems to like shooting people near Michaels Stores. Interesting how most just assume it's a "he" isn't it?

Mmmmm, clogged arteries ** Now that's healthy. Wow. Wonder what kind of chemical reaction occurs as your body tries to process it!

Project C ** Criminy... Project C just came along and smacked me. It's due in 2 days. I'm going to be a busy girl tonight...

Stunning grasp of the obvious ** Go, George! I think you're catching on to the principles of basic logic. "Any time anybody is randomly shooting, randomly killing, randomly taking life, it's cold-blooded murder."

Blood services ** They won't let me donate blood because I'm pregnant. But if you have a few minutes, consider visiting United Blood Services and arranging to donate blood. The American Red Cross has a 3-day supply but United Blood Services has basically run out. Think about it... If something happened to your child or your spouse, imagine them telling you, "I'm sorry, but his/her blood loss is too severe, and we've run out of blood." Bad, bad, bad. /end soapbox

Jerry Falwell, eating crow ** This is not an excuse. You don't accidentally say something that specific and inflammatory. Period. The interviewer even asked him to clarify, and he did. I didn't know there was a riot in India started by this dipsh*t's comments. That makes me sick. I wonder sometimes what God must think of guys like this, and the awful things said and done in His name. Mind-numbing.

Ah-choo ** I'd like to relay all the fabulous things I did this weekend. Lord knows I had all the plans laid out for fun happenings. What really happened? I curled up on my couch, watched awful TV and used up a box of Puffs Plus. This cold is getting worse before it gets better and I'm not happy about it. Not. one. bit. We did manage to paint more of the baby's room, which looks great. It's still not done, and we had time to do more last night, but I just couldn't bring myself to move. I made yummy gluten free banana bread though, which was the only real successful venture of the weekend. Whoopee. And now I'm at work. I shouldn't be, but there were people out last week I was covering for who are back today. I need to tell them what's happening with their files. I just might not be here tomorrow, though.
